Ascend Eight is a vetted membership community designed for C-Suite support staff who are at the top of their game, supporting some of the most influential and successful leaders of our time.

Members are assigned to an Eight, a collective whose professional journey resembles their own to ensure they are connecting with true peers operating at a similar level.  

Members meet 10 months of the year with their Eight and support each other as they navigate the unique challenges that come with providing support at an elite level.  

As a member, you will also have access to events, resources and experts such as Executive Consultants, Business Strategists, Leadership Psychologists, trusted advisors to top-tier leaders and strategic partners to visionaries.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

Membership Criteria

Ascend Eight membership is designed for those who support the most senior people within their organization. We vet applicants for seniority to ensure our members get support from true peers. We use a range of factors to determine if your seniority level qualifies, including:

Title

The most commonly held titles amongst our members are Executive Business Partner, Executive Personal Assistant, Chief of Staff, Senior Executive Assistant, Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant. We look for an equivalent title within your organization, industry or geography. 

Industry, Company Size & Maturity

We curate groups based on a variety of factors including industry and company maturity. This is to ensure you are placed with peers who have relevant experience. We ensure members are operating at a very senior level and will bring value to the group. 

Salary

Most of our members are six figure employees earning a salary that reflects their level of experience. There is some flexibility with this in certain geographies and circumstances. If you're not sure about your eligibility, we encourage you to reach out or apply.   

Reporting Structure

Our members report to the most senior people in their organization. They support CEOs, Founders, Board Members, High Profile Personalities and UHNWIs.

Direct Reports

Many of our members have direct reports and manage teams of administrative professionals or household staff, however this is not an essential requirement of membership.

Professional Journey

Professional journey encompasses titles, scope, relevant experience and responsibilities. Applications are not a tick box exercise and are viewed comprehensively.

What services come with membership to Ascend Eight?

Connections
Once your membership is accepted, you will join an Eight. An Eight is a group of 8 peers who meet 10 months of the year. You will be given the schedule before you join to confirm it is suitable.

Groups are made up of true peers who are operating at a similar level. People who are making a significant cultural and business impact. 

Ascend Eight members get together to discuss everything from yacht broker recommendations, wealth management, security logistics and high profile events to building financial models, managing household staff, real estate acquisition and unique requests. 

They support each other, make recommendations, nurture their network and provide non judgemental advice in a confidential space.

Training & Access To Expert Resources 
Your first session as a group will be a training workshop and ice breaker where you will learn about the program philosophy, best practices for running your group sessions and you will get to know your peers. As a group you will agree on rules, roles and responsibilities. This is all guided by your expert facilitator. 

As a member of Ascend Eight you will have access to Executive Consultants, Business Strategists, Leadership Psychologists, trusted advisors to top-tier leaders and strategic partners to visionaries as well as other experts. These experts will present to your group on a range of relevant topics and will be guided by the needs of the group.

Community & Events
You will have access to the Ascend Eight Slack Channel to connect with peers from other groups. 

There will be online networking opportunities and as membership increases, our intention is to run virtual and in-person events where various Eights can meet and mingle.

Our guest speakers and trainers are sourced according to the needs of group members. Your role isn't a one size fits all situation and neither are we, because we get it. We assess your needs, identify the gaps and curate resources that help you succeed.

Joining an Eight is not for everyone but members take the commitment seriously because of the high level of personal and professional value being part of an Eight brings. 

Supporting the supporters is what this is all about. As someone who supports a leader, it can be isolating and challenging. There's a lot to figure out and there's often no one to talk to due to the nature of the role. Joining your Eight will change that.

Applications for Ascend Eight 2025 are now open. 
The application process has two stages. The first stage is to complete the application form (approximately 40 minutes). Your application will be assessed by our membership team. If you are invited to the next stage, this will be a video call with a member of our membership team. 

No payments are made until your application has been accepted. 

If you are invited to join Ascend Eight, you will then pay a membership fee of $1188 USD / year.
